For use with temperature sensor probes to buffer readings against temporary air temperature shifts caused by the opening of doors, defrost cycle and HVAC fans.
The glycol, sand or water will slow the response time of the sensor allowing normal daily operations to occur without having a false alarm initiated.
They are ideal for VFC, pharmacies, doctors offices, walk-in coolers, refrigerators or freezers and other locations that experience drastic, temporary temperature changes.
Glycol buffers have long been recommended by the CDC, FDA and others to help minimize false positives with temperature monitoring. The glycol option is not typical antifreeze but food grade safe glycol. Includes a 10" Velcro strap to attach the bottle and an extra cap to seal the glycol or sand during shipment. |
